Dropkick Murphys announces partnership with Death Wish Coffee for St. Patrick's Day 2024
BOSTON — Dropkick Murphys announced a partnership today with Death Wish Coffee, the Upstate New York coffee company, to fundraise for The Claddagh Fund during St. Patrick’s Day Weekend.
The American Celtic punk band will kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend on Thursday, March 14 at the House of Blues, then will perform three shows throughout the weekend at MGM Music Hall. Their string of shows will also be highlighting and benefitting the band’s charitable organization,The Claddagh Fund.
The Claddagh Fund, started by Murphys frontman Ken Casey in 2009, focuses on children’s and veterans’ organizations, as well as drug and alcohol recovery programs in Boston and Philadelphia.
To support the band’s fundraising efforts, Death Wish Coffee will be donating $50,000 to The Claddagh Fund during St. Patrick’s Day Weekend. Additionally, Death Wish Coffee will create a limited-edition collaboration mug and sweatshirt, and donate $10 of each mug sold to The Claddagh Fund. These items will launch to the public on Friday, March 15.
